Day 82 – I Value Consistency Over Perfection
"I value consistency over perfection."
Perfection is a trap. Consistency is the key.
Chasing perfection feels productive — but it's often just fear dressed up as high standards. The pursuit of perfect keeps you tweaking instead of doing, planning instead of starting, waiting instead of shipping. And while you wait for everything to be just right, the people who showed up imperfectly are already ahead.
Done consistently beats perfect occasionally. Every time.
The Anti-BADASS Trap
An Anti-BADASS abandons progress chasing perfection.
"If I can't do it perfectly, there's no point."
"I missed one day so I may as well start again."
"It's not good enough yet."
"I'll wait until I can do it properly."
"I don't want to put something out that isn't perfect."
They use perfectionism as an excuse to stop. One missed workout becomes a reason to quit the whole programme. One imperfect post becomes a reason not to publish. And so they never build the momentum that only consistency can create.
The BADASS Alternative
A BADASS values consistency over perfection.
They show up even when it's not their best day.
They know that a 70% effort repeated daily beats a 100% effort done once.
They don't let one missed day derail the whole habit.
They understand that progress compounds — but only if you keep going.
Consistency is the superpower. Use it.
Today's Challenge
Where have you been letting perfectionism stop your progress? The habit you abandoned because you missed a day. The project you haven't finished because it's not quite right.
Today, show up imperfectly. Do the thing at 70%. Keep the streak alive.
Consistency over perfection. Always.
Today's BADASS Reminder
BADASS: Values consistency over perfection.
Anti-BADASS: Abandons progress chasing perfection.
One builds momentum. One stays stuck.
Stay focused.
Stay disciplined.
Stay BADASS. 💪🔥
