Day 43 – I Focus On Progress
"I focus on progress."
Perfection is a trap. A beautiful, seductive, completely paralysing trap.
It whispers that you're not ready yet. That it needs to be better. That you should wait until everything is just right before you put it out into the world.
And while you're waiting for perfect — someone else is out there doing it imperfectly and winning.
The Anti-BADASS Trap
An Anti-BADASS obsesses over perfection.
They rewrite the same page for weeks and never publish it.
They plan the business for months and never launch it.
They wait until they feel ready — and that day never comes.
Perfectionism looks like high standards. But most of the time, it's just fear wearing a disguise.
Fear of judgement. Fear of failure. Fear of being seen and found wanting.
And so they stay stuck — polishing something that will never be perfect, instead of shipping something that could change everything.
The BADASS Alternative
A BADASS focuses on progress.
They know that done is better than perfect.
They ship, learn, improve, and ship again.
They celebrate every step forward — no matter how small — because they understand that progress compounds.
They are not reckless. They care about quality. But they don't let the pursuit of perfect become the enemy of good.
Progress over perfection. Every time.
Today's Challenge
Is there something you've been holding back because it's "not ready yet"?
A post you haven't published.
A product you haven't launched.
A conversation you haven't had.
A step you haven't taken.
Ask yourself honestly: is it really not ready — or are you just afraid?
If it's fear, ship it anyway. Progress requires courage.
Take one imperfect step forward today.
Today's BADASS Reminder
BADASS: Focuses on progress.
Anti-BADASS: Obsesses over perfection.
One moves forward. One stays stuck.
Stay focused.
Stay disciplined.
Stay BADASS. 💪🔥
